About Us
Welcome to Hollistic Health Hub Derbyshire
Holistic Health Hub Derbyshire is the fruition of experiences, accomplishments, realisations, improved well-being and health of a group of like-minded individuals.
Realising that we all have self-help tools within and the ability to heal through connection, socialisation, movement and confidence building is a powerful tool, one we have chosen to share as far and wide as possible. Your well-being, mentally and physically, will begin to surface over time through the wealth of knowledge delivered and shared by our diverse group of instructors. And from personal growth, feelings of confidence will support you into a healthier lifestyle. Our facilities and equipment provide opportunity for different needs, and instructors are trained and experienced in working with diverse groups of people, please view our “Making the Unimaginable Possible” section in the Specialist Classes section for more information.
We are working towards an extensive programme of classes, the programme will gradually build over time.
Restoration of the chapel
Restoration of the chapel has protected and enhanced much of the original interior including some original seating, beautiful wall features and the exposed roof rafters. The plaster has been removed from the walls and the stone work has been sandblasted back to their previous beauty. All the stunning interior and exterior doors have the original metal work including grand hinges, door claps and locking levers. The stained glass windows are intact in places and, where they have deteriorated beyond repair, plans are in place to restore them over a period of time.
The entrance area will guide you to chapel one where we have our aerial studio or to chapel two for floor classes. Or straight forward into the old vestry ‘The Snug’, a place to gather and socialise either before or after a class over a drink and something to eat. Wheelchair accessible toilet facilities can be located through the vestry area.
Easy and plentiful free parking is available at the bottom of the drive. A variety of individual arrangements will be made with disabled and challenged students ensuring easy access.
Physical and mental well-being can be nurtured through connection, being active, becoming aware, learning and giving.
